When JOHN COLONE pulls off the biggest score of his life, all he has to do is unload the merchandise and go off to live a life of leisure in Florida. Easier said than done. Stuck in Echo Park with his buyers scared away, John must try and sell his stolen merchandise back to the very man he stole it from, JIMMY ESPINOSA, a crook so evil, he’s rumored to have killed his own mother.

As he waits, John forms an unlikely friendship with a local boy ANTOINE 11, who won’t leave John alone. Through Antoine, John begins to realize that maybe his life’s priorities are not what they should be, and that he needs to set things straight with the correct family and friends before its too late.

With the bad guys and the authorities closing in, John begins to navigate a dangerous and delicate balance between doing what he needs to do, and doing what’s right. It all comes to a head in an action packed climax as John, Jimmy, Antoine, the police, and a large parade celebrating Columbus Day converge at once.

Can John survive, and find happiness on this sunny afternoon in Echo Park?
